How much does it cost to register for the contests?
For the Mandelbrot Competition the registration fee for enrolling at either level (regional or national) is $32, while the cost for entering teams at both levels is $48. The basic registration fee for the Mandelbrot Team Play is also $32, with the option of enrolling up to two additional teams for $8 per extra team. There is separate registration and billing for each contest.
Typically a coach will enroll a school for either contest at the Registration page. Greater Testing Concepts then sends an email confirming the registration (which will include the total amount) followed shortly thereafter by an electronic or paper invoice to the billing address provided. Once the registration fee has been received we will email a confirmation of payment. All forms, tests, and solutions arrive in the welcome packets. These are mailed out beginning in mid September for the Mandelbrot Competition and are sent electronically beginning in early December for the Mandelbrot Team Play.
